About me
I am a Photographer & Retoucher with 4 years professional experience specialising in fashion ecommerce. During this time I worked in-house for British menswear staples, Ben Sherman and Liam Gallagher’s Pretty Green. I feel my experience and knowledge as a online photographer would be a great match in applying to this role.
I want to build on my experience from Pretty Green, where I successfully established and managed the brands first in-house studio, taking it from a very small room to an entire floor. Within budget, I made sure the improved studio had the latest photographic equipment and lighting so it could Successfully produce ecommerce imagery that matched the same standard as a campaign.
My expertise in the ecommerce process lead me to setting up a second studio in Pretty Green’s warehouse. I successfully ran an engaging and informative workshop with the staff there on how to shoot product flats consistently. Aside from shooting in the studio I would be invited to shoot on location, behind the scenes during seasonal campaign shoots and at in-store events, my photography consistently excelling despite the environment and scenarios.
During my time at Pretty Green I was responsible for managing a Studio Assistant to help with day to day retouching, styling and photography - I always encouraged their creative input and development. I have maintained a nonintimidating professional and open space for working in and this contributed to a productive and creative environment.
Leaving Pretty Green this October, I have launched myself into freelance work continuing to shoot still life and ecommerce for Lucky Seven and Orlebar Brown.
As more is demanded online from brands it is important ecommerce and product photography is always being challenged. I feel my experience would be an asset to any brand planning to expand their ecommerce photography.

Mandarin StudiesEast China Normal University
- Shanghai, China
In August 2014 I took part in a Marketing & Mandarin study program in China. I studied how luxury brands adjusted to the Chinese and Asian market. I used Burberry as a first hand case study, working in a team we gathered our research as a group essay and presented it to the participants of the course.
During this 3 week programme I took part in intensive Mandarin language classes. The course ended with a written and spoken test of which I successfully passed.

Activities and Societies: Kimchi International Club, Nike Running Club Seoul, Basic Korean
While studying for my BA Hons at Kingston University I took a semester out in my second year to take my design education to Hongik University in South Korea.
I participated in both the International School of Design (IDAS) where lessons were spoken in English. I worked on typographic projects, producing my own books snd posters exploring type. This work was showcased at the end of the year in the IDAS exhibition in Hongdae.
I worked on illustrations for a guide to all of Seoul's Museums with both International and Korean students. We collated our illustrations together and made them into a book that we bound ourselves. I participated in a photography class too where I captured a typical conversation with a Korean; producing portraits of confused people as they spoke to me in english.
Once a week I was able to understand more of the language where I took a test at the end of the semester in basic Korean.
