About me
Recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with a First-Class B.A. Honors in Human, Social, and Political Sciences, I am now seeking a creative position in a collaborative environment. As co-founder and content editor of Cambridge-based art collective Lift Up, I learned that leading from within the team strengthens relationships and ensures a vibrant, inclusive working culture. Through my work experience as a private tutor, as well as customer-facing and public relations roles, I have developed strong interpersonal and communications skills. I have a strong work ethic, and I will use and develop these skills to become a useful and productive member of the team.

Lift Up is a events company that looks to showcase the very best of sound-system culture past and present. In my role as co-founder, I assist in: communication with night-club managers, DJs and sound-system engineers to host music events in Cambridge and Manchester; collaborating with BME publications (Mosaic), radio platforms (Subtle Radio), and other student-led music events around the UK (Emanate Audio, Target Events, North Report); provision of content on digital content to maintain brand image (recorded live-sets, blog posts on history of sound-system culture etc.); organizing promotion for paid events through rep networks amongst students at Cambridge University and Angela Ruskin; Analysing financial data from FIXR and Facebook analytics to improve marketing strategy; and maintaining relationships with local charities, including Manchester Central Food Bank and Médecins Sans Frontières.
