  • SYNAPSE ORIGINAL October 2016 – October 2017 Synapse Original is a 360° communication agency established in Paris in 2011; now based out of Yangon, Myanmar. Clients include Samsung, Heineken, KFC, Unilever, Tiger Beer, Nivea, and Pandora. Digital Creative Manager Responsibilities: • Head of creative content for digital campaigns. • Chief copywriter as well as working with the design team to create visuals for social media channels and digital campaigns. • Executed creative mechanisms, content plans, and digital strategy for campaigns on Samsung, Heineken, KFC, Tiger and Nivea accounts. • Contacted directly with clients taking a central role in meetings and pitches. • Developed concepts with creative team for upcoming pitches and new campaigns. • Ensured multiple projects were delivered on time and of the highest standard. Achievements: • Took a leading role in the proposal which won the account for all of Samsung’s digital content. Leading the project, I conceptualised the creative mechanism for their Facebook page, presenting the digital strategy and creative content to the prospective client. After an initial 3-month trial working on the account, the client renewed the contract thanks to the success of our work. • Soon after the success of the Samsung CE pitch, we were given the opportunity to launch the Samsung Galaxy S8 in Myanmar, winning the pitch ahead of other top international agencies. The digital campaign was enormously successful; most notably the ‘Galaxy Hunt’ competition, a guerrilla campaign I took a central role in creating, which was then used by Samsung Thailand. • Successfully pitched and won the opportunity to run the Heineken UEFA Champions League More Behind the Star digital campaigns. I was head of the full digital strategy and content production for both campaigns.

Freelance Copywriter / Re-branding of Nescafe Original Coffee Responsibilities: • Received a PR statement from Nescafe and was tasked to transform the text into exciting and punchy copy. • Wrote the copy to accompany the announcement visual of the new packaging for Nescafe Original Coffee, which was then used on Nescafe UK homepage and other Nestle media outlets, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr. • Kept copy precise and relevant, ensuring it fit within guidelines. • Worked directly with clients, ensuring all work met their expectations and needs on time. HERTA UK Freelance Copywriter / Update the ‘About Herta’ section on their website Responsibilities: • Wrote the ‘About’ section for the company website. • Produced copy that was colourful and imaginative without compromising the factual history of the company. • Worked quickly and independently to meet the deadline.
