I recently graduated from the University of Southampton, having spent the past three years studying Philosophy and Anthropology. It was an incredible experience that indulged my interest in people and how we make sense of the world, whilst also teaching me the value of self-discipline, and attention to detail. I really enjoyed the opportunity to develop my ideas and refine their presentation when producing essays. During my summer holidays each year, I have been employed by an events company as a steward. Working high profile events such as Glastonbury music festival, I have relished the chance to interact with so many new people and improve my ability to problem solve in stressful situations. Prior to attending university, I took a gap year in which I travelled for 9 months around the Indian sub-continent, South East Asia and Australasia. I feel extraordinarily lucky to have been able to learn about so many different cultures, I believe it has really helped me become an adaptable and confident individual.
