About me
Hello, I'm Charlotte. I have over seven years’ experience in copywriting and content creation roles, where I've helped to develop and shape brand stories to engage diverse audience types and influence behaviours. I have a passion for storytelling, and I love discovering where the connection and resonance will sit at the heart of every one of those stories. I've worked client and agency side, for global companies and fast-growth start ups, and am now looking to move into the contract and freelance sector so I can focus more specifically on content and copy-led projects.

    My role focuses on finding ways to better engage the community within the UK’s largest wholesale market, using creative solutions to excite people about the journey ahead. I’m responsible for delivering, and bringing to life, a content and engagement strategy that supports over 170 tenant businesses through each stage of the market’s £140m redevelopment project. My role includes: ♣ Content Creation: production and curation of quarterly community newspaper Market Times (includes all copy, content, interviews and ideas for new features) and the monthly redevelopment newsletter; development of seasonal creative video campaign Stories From The Market which gives a voice to some of the different faces behind the market from traders and distributors to chefs and florists ♣ Creative and Brand Management: management of multiple brand strands within the New Covent Garden Market portfolio, including the external management of our video production and brand creative agencies to keep all content fresh and up to date ♣ Community Engagement: implementation of cross-channel communications to engage our diverse community, from market tenants to start-up residents; this includes monthly nightshifts, face to face interviews, visits to businesses on site, planning and organising events, and the execution of various marketing campaigns to better engage the community
