I am a UCA Farnham, Fine Art Graduate. I was recently an Art Consultant with Whitewall Galleries, and I am now a Freelance Artist and volunteer for children’s craft workshops and a member of Dartford Arts Network, in my hometown which is a similar organisation to Trowbridge Arts, which is what attracted me to your organisation, we don’t have a base in town yet and I think your Town Hall has amazing potential.
My main passion in life is art, and the art world itself, it is full of museums and galleries; my favourite places to be. During my degree, I took part in many curatorial projects, and in the two years since I graduated I have continued to set up exhibitions and curate them, including a pop up shop at Bluewater last summer with the What If Gallery, a local charity run art gallery. I really enjoy working on community projects, I am a Volunteer with Dartford Arts Network and we have done many children and adult workshops getting the community involved with art and educational projects.
Working with an organisation like yours would be an amazing experience for me, I feel I could gain so many skills from this role. I am already running my own online gallery as a background project with my business partner, whom I met at University and I am highly fluent within the world of social media and have designed my own and a few other websites. I gained a high 2:1 for my dissertation at University, and I enjoy writing as I have written the profiles for an online art gallery that I run called Art Fox, as well as blog posts.
I enjoy new experiences because it expands my vision, and it gives me a chance to network with new people and different influences, hearing new stories.
