Charlotte Johnson was born and raised in Dudley, West Midlands and later moved to London to study Fashion Design at the University for the Creative Arts. During her studies Charlotte interned for Emilia Wickstead, where she gained a high level of design experience as well as working on a dress for HRH The Duchess of Cambridge - which she wore during the 2014 royal tour of Australia and New Zealand. Charlotte is an enquiring and energetic designer with a focused, professional and friendly personality. She blends her background in art history and influence of architecture, along with her enjoyment of graphic design, to create a unique vision with tremendous drive and ambition. She constantly focuses her work on containing clean, crisp lines with experimental cutting and craftsmanship that make up feminine qualities, alongside using high quality fabrics with subtle details. Charlotte is passionate in developing detailed concepts using hints of WGSN trend research, that provide her with a clear and focused direction in mood, colour, fabrication, research and development, thus allowing her to adapt and engage in a range of projects to an exceptional and professional standard. She is confident in using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop.
