I am a Producer working in advertising and I am very keen to work in Film and Television. I am used to producing projects with large budgets of anywhere from 60K all the way up to 180K. I have produced ads for TV and Cinemas, and some of my biggest clients include Facebook, BMW, Epson, and Barbour as well as a number of clients all over the globe. I am currently based in London, but I am comfortable with traveling for work and I hold both a US and Canadian passport.
My responsibilities vary greatly at my current job. I liaise with clients and digest briefs. I delegate creatives to work on treatments, overseeing aspects of creative pre-production. I create and manage budgets, hire suppliers and freelancers, scout and audition talent, develop schedules, and build my projects from the ground up fearlessly and with gumption. On set I am able to assist in any and all fields. I have a full understanding of equipment lingo and purposes. I am savvy and love a good challenge on set. One time, I had to source and have built a 9 foot tall prop bus stop shelter within 12 hours, and you bet your bottom dollar that prop bus shelter arrived on set with plenty of time to assemble and dress. Ya girl can think on her feet. In post, I am nick named Eagle-eyed Charlie by the editors, because my attention to detail is next level. I even surprise myself sometimes. I have budgeted for, produced, and overseen projects that are 100% animated and I can even act as a director in Post overseeing edits and making creative decisions. My current job is very demanding and I am used to Producing big projects from the beginning all the way to the very end. Some of my biggest clients include Facebook, BMW, Richard Quinn, Epson, and Barbour, as well as a number of clients all over the world.
This was a very fun music video filmed for Elderbrook and it involved a sloth, a swimming pool, and giant human-sized sloth synchronized swimmers. I was lucky enough to assist Dale Oliver Slater in the art department for the shoot. My responsibilities included liaising with the Producer and Director as well as Dale, sourcing and ordering props, building set pieces and designing props, and dressing and maintaining the set throughout filming.
I assisted the Producers at Agile with many different projects. I location scouted for music videos, hired crew, assisted on set, managed crew expenses, scheduled meetings, sorted legal documents and contracts, auditioned cast, sourced extras, handled a sloth (one time for a music video), ran errands, organized props and wardrobe and made everyone really delicious tea and coffee.
I Produced and Directed short films, music videos, and ads for clients from Toronto and New York. I developed creative ideas, pitched to clients, and wrote detailed scripts and treatments. I formed and allocated budgets for kit, crew, art department, location hire, transportation, and all logistical fees. I made creative decisions on set design, styling, blocking, and shots. I managed crew and delegated work to create a positive production environment. I oversaw projects from start to finish, assisting in post and keeping clients happy.
I developed and organized a large scale music festival in South Florida for Invisible Children Organization. I planned and hosted fundraising events for festival fees and sourced sponsors and vendors. I auditioned and hired popular musicians and bands and secured event location and volunteers . I hired and managed staff for event including professional security, audio engineer, janitorial crew, vendors, and volunteers. I managed the distribution of flyers and promotional materials, overseeing a team of promoters. I organized event logistics and scheduling while in control of all moving parts. I successfully hosted over 500 guests and 14 bands at this music festival and donated all earnings to Invisible Children Organization.
