Lowe Counsel is Lowe and Partners cultural insight and analysis consultancy dedicated to identifying and understanding emerging trends in consumer attitudes and behaviour. In this role I carried out research in categories as wide ranging as technology, media habits/consumption, beauty/personal care, beverages, luxury, travel, women/mothers, Gen Y and Millennials. Projects / Responsibilities • Managed a range of global consumer research and insights projects for clients and for senior Lowe and Unilever stakeholders in a number of different categories. • Managed an international network of global thought leaders and industry experts in over 50 cities worldwide. • Conducted ethnographic interviews and produced research specific films both in the UK and overseas. • Researched and edited cultural and consumer trend reports. • Supported new business pitch teams. Achievements • Developed, recruited and maintained an outstanding international network of over 2000 thought leaders and industry experts. • Managed the production of the annual Lowe Counsel Future Signs reports both in print and digital. • Created a substantial number of illustrated and written consumer reports and films both for clients and senior Lowe management.
Produced the annual Lowe Nova Awards for three consecutive years. This is a unique initiative that Lowe and Partners runs in partnership with Central Saint Martins, one of the worlds leading art schools, and part of the University of the Arts London. ? Responsibilities • Oversaw production of the entire awards programme from judging through to awards night. • Coordinated the judging process at the Central Saint Martins graduate shows. • Curated the exhibition for each private view event. • Briefed and managed event production teams as well as budgets. Achievements • Executed three highly successful awards events each of which grew year on year. • Built and maintained sponsorship and partner relations with Central Saint Martins management, senior Unilever executives and programme directors at D&AD. • Successfully generated creative and industry press for the event, as well as social media coverage.
