General Athletics Counsellor

This summer I have worked as an Athletics Counsellor at the above summer camp in the USA. This is something I have wanted to do for a number of years now. I spent nine weeks working with a multi- national group of staff looking after 400 children aged from 6 to 17. I along with 3 other counsellors was responsible for the wellbeing of 14 girls aged 7-9. Working 6 days a week, 17 hours a day, en- suring that the girls were cared for and enjoying themselves with their peers and Camp Counsellors. A daily log report was kept of each child ensuring parents and fellow staff were aware of what each child had achieved each day. Whilst in the USA I earned a level 1 coaching certificate for USA Archery which I taught on a daily basis alongside teaching volleyball.
Travel Money Advisor

I was a Travel Money Advisor working in a Travel Money Bureau. I provided customer service involving sales and purchases of foreign currencies, issuing and promoting currency passports, sending funds to different countries via Western Union. I was responsible for balancing the till and safes daily, and keeping all necessary records, along with completing daily checks. I had to order supplies of currencies and organising banking for sterling funds. I also had to order stationary monthly, and take deliveries weekly.
