This summer I have worked as an Athletics Counsellor at the above summer camp in the USA. This is something I have wanted to do for a number of years now. I spent nine weeks working with a multi- national group of staff looking after 400 children aged from 6 to 17. I along with 3 other counsellors was responsible for the wellbeing of 14 girls aged 7-9. Working 6 days a week, 17 hours a day, en- suring that the girls were cared for and enjoying themselves with their peers and Camp Counsellors. A daily log report was kept of each child ensuring parents and fellow staff were aware of what each child had achieved each day. Whilst in the USA I earned a level 1 coaching certificate for USA Archery which I taught on a daily basis alongside teaching volleyball.
I was a Travel Money Advisor working in a Travel Money Bureau. I provided customer service involving sales and purchases of foreign currencies, issuing and promoting currency passports, sending funds to different countries via Western Union. I was responsible for balancing the till and safes daily, and keeping all necessary records, along with completing daily checks. I had to order supplies of currencies and organising banking for sterling funds. I also had to order stationary monthly, and take deliveries weekly.
I had the position of Admin Assistant, which involved working Tuesdays and Wednesday Evenings 11pm to 7am. For this role, I had to organise reports for the morning staff, update systems, handle store queries, along with putting out POS and make sure that any increases and decreases were out before the shop opened the next day.

During the summer in 2014, I worked at a summer language school in Eastbourne for Ardmore as a Senior welfare leader. This involved working with children from different countries such as; Russia, Italy, France, Spain, Mexico and many others. My responsibility was looking after the children's wel- fare by making sure they were settled in, making new friends, doing shifts morning, day and night. To make sure this worked effectively I was working within a team of 5, but we also had to work with the Management team as well as the activity leaders.
I worked both at the stores in Merry Hill Centre, Brierley Hill and the Eden Centre, High Wycombe where I worked on till operation, stock management, customer service, running fitting rooms.
