  • I manage an advisory panel of researchers from all over the world. This includes PhD's, Post Docs, Professors etc. Currently there are 184 but through a recent recruitment effort, it appears this panel will much more than double in size. Very exciting. We conduct UX testing with this panel and I am responsible for all communications, recruitment, as well as, online community management & content creation for the panel, on the platform Mendeley. (Reference manager & social network for academics.) I sit in most of the tests which has been really fun and interesting. Prior to this, I managed Visual Communications projects within the context of tourism & heritage for 8 years. I have also worked in film.

  • I lead visual communications projects for over 8 years in South Africa. This included video productions, events, exhibitions (museum & brand related). Each project was unique and I have been very lucky to work on some incredible projects. planning for a dinosaur museum, an exhibition opened by the president, an expedition around southern Africa and lots more.
