About me
A graphic designer & creative artworker with a passion for creating designs which are bold, colourful and beautifully crafted. I have a particular love for print, there’s a tactile and emotional connection to holding a piece of print, like looking through an album of old photographs. With over 8 years of working in the events services industry, I am experienced in taking projects from initial brief through to production and overseeing installation, maintaining a keen eye for detail at every stage. Working with clients from various sectors including Technology/Mobile, Media, Finance and Sciences, I’ve provided signage for various applications, delivering creative, consistent and clear designs.
Projects
  • Hop off the Press
Hop off the PressBrand Identity and packaging design concept for a new cider brand
  • Bird Illustrations
Bird IllustrationsA short series of illustrations that I made in Illustrator (using a mouse). I was inspired by the Pantone colour chips, to use a flood of a particular Pantone for the background which then influenced the illustration. I chose birds as the subjects because they are such interesting creatures to study. They also proved very challenging in terms of achieving texture and shading.

Initially starting at Blue Ant as a junior designer, I have gained various skills over my time there, in design, production and installation of event graphics. The fast-pace nature of events has led me to develop better time-management skills, to be more organised and have more responsibility for projects, from initial concept to final execution.

I was tasked with re-creating vintage food packaging to be used on set for the TV series ‘Turn Back Time - The Family.’ The role involved researching 20th century packaging and creating mock-ups in a very short amount of time, with a minimal budget. I relished the challenge and found it very interesting looking at how packaging design has evolved over the years.
