Projects
- DISSERTATIONHere it is—my dissertation! ✨ This project explores how marginalised communities have used fashion and music to challenge mainstream narratives and express their identity. Focusing on grime’s rise in the early 2000s, I examine how socioeconomic conditions shaped its visual identity and how clothing became both a form of creativity and a target of institutional control. As Black British music gained recognition, grime’s fashion faced new challenges—from media biases to corporate commodification
