This was a 12 month, fixed term contract, within Komedia’s Marketing team. I was hired to oversee the development of the Marketing and PR strategy and execution of new growth opportunities. I was responsible for achieving sales targets for all shows, and improving the stature of the venue within the South West. One of my greatest successes, and one they continue to host, was introducing Press Events to develop key relationships and confirm editorial.
Responsibilities:
● Line manage marketing assistant, interns and distribution staff, working to the existing Marketing Strategy within the annual budget

● Communicate with Venue Management the effectiveness of marketing outcomes against strategy and budget
● Responsible for creating and implementing plans for all own promo events
● Act as the main marketing contact for external promoters
● Maintain a focus on marketing activity for the Arts Café
