About me
Hello, I'm Chloe. I am currently in my third year of my Textiles and Surface Design Degree. During my time at Bridgwater and Taunton college I have experimented with many process and have recently found something that really interests me. How people can interact with textiles and fabrics. Using initiative processes combined with your traditional print. Im highly inspired by organic forms and natural found objects, but I never shy away to any form of inspiration, I feel its important to try new things and keep your eyes open to fresh inspiration.
Projects
  • Oak Ward
Oak WardA digital design created, with the inspiration of 'The Woodlands' This wall vinyl is placed within the childrens ward at Musgrove Hopsital. Being inspired by scandinavian design. Using bright block colour to make the enviroment welcoming.

  • Arts for Life
Arts for LifeI had a wonderful opportunity to work with the Arts for Life team at Musgrove Park Hospital to come up with a couple window vinyl designs for the Beacon centre to help with a privacy issue. I was asked to use the Somerset location as my inspiration and I decided that landscape views would be best for this project, bring the outside in. Visiting local landmarks and taking photos for inspiration. I used my knowledge of illustrator to create two landscapes that could become 4 individual designs, and work as a repeat throughout the ward. Creating digital designs incorporating colour to give it dimension. Working with the printers and the Arts for Life team to find the right opacity so that the light would still shine through bringing natural light to the room but still providing the privacy the patients need.
