Carphone Warehouse

Jan 2012
  • I design, illustrate and animate digital content, such as customer retention emails and web content, for the in-house studio at mobile phone retailer Carphone Warehouse. I have created infographics for Carphone Warehouse’s advertorial section of the nationally-distributed freesheet, the Metro. I have also worked with their Point of Sale team, producing printed and animated content for in-store display, and have designed press ads for national newspapers.

Freelance Illustrator

Buzzfeed UK

Jan 2014 - Sep 2014
  • I have worked on several briefs for BuzzFeed UK, providing illustrations and graphics for projects such as science tutorials and long-form articles. These briefs required me to visually represent the information from the articles, as well as designing gifs and static illustrations to enhance the content.

Founder & Designer

Sally Can’t Dance

Jun 2007 - Dec 2011
  • In 2007 I founded independent fashion label Sally Can’t Dance, selling garments and accessories in Brick Lane, Camden, Brighton, and an online concession with Rokit. I designed and developed all content, and screen-printed the garments. I also maintained the brand’s online presence and the day-to-day workings of the business. This experience taught me the important facets of independent work: confidence, objectivity, self-motivation, and determination.
