I enjoy working within graphic design as it allows me to visualise my ideas in a bold and modern format as well as incorporating classic ideas both manually and digitally. I have worked within big and small groups of other artists and have gained useful experience from collaborating with their ideas. Working alone I also dedicate my time to meet the brief as effectively as I can as well as meeting any deadlines that are set both promptly and to a professional standard.
Projects
- Rope Walks - Walking Tour PosterThis was a project I did with Plymouth City Council in which I was designing a poster for their Rope Walks event. This was a walking tour which took place around the Barbican of Plymouth. I worked with a group of people including marketing managers and council members who provided their insight and opinion on numerous designs until a final one was reached. I used Photoshop to alter stock images and Illustrator to create the hand drawn logo.
- INK Journal 2017The 2017 issue of Plymouth University's INK Journal. I designed the logo on the cover/s and the layout of the magazine itself. The theme was night and day so half way through the magazine the layout flips making each half night and day. All illustrations and artwork are the property and work of other artists including both cover images.
