Working as a Personal Assistant/Production Assistant to the founder and Company Director, award winning film director Bader Ben Hirsi. Functioning as the mechanics behind the production company’s activities I was responsible for arranging meetings and interviews, organising schedules, travel arrangements and visas, along with liaising with major partnerships and international companies. This allowed for extensive travelling to L.A, the Berlin Film Festival and the Cannes Film Festival along with the opportunity of spending three months working on the pre-production of a feature length film in Morocco. As a Production Assistant I was able to exercise my creative flair by collaborating with the production team in the initial development process of forthcoming projects, which lead to me to write, co-produce and shoot my own short film earlier this year.
Interned at a Berlin based start-up acting as a Content Management Intern for a travel app. As part of the content team my role included content development and outreach, catalogue management and data analysis. Intercompany communications with the marketing team was crucial to my position, which required me to develop interesting and gripping app and digital content for the company blog such as articles and reviews, along with strategising and developing marketing and social media strategies.
Work placement supporting a small team on the development of the Weekend Wake-up Show. Assisting the radio host in the planning of shows both live and pre-recorded. On air duties, taking calls and requests from listeners, collecting details and data from competition winners. Administrative duties including cataloguing past shows, collecting and tracking data.
