Lecturer on the MA Communication Design course at Central Saint Martins College (UAL). Author of 'Restart: New Systems in Graphic Design' (Thames & Hudson). Conceived, curated and designed 'Design Now – Graphics' at the Design Museum, London.
Projects
- CHKDesign for AD MagazineSharing a curated selection of AD covers that we art-directed and designed between 2000 and 2024. The iconic AD logo, which symbolises the start of CHK Design’s collaboration with the magazine, is rooted in modernist design principles, incorporating geometric shapes like the triangle, square, and circle.
- CHK Design for Wholetalk Magazine@chkdesign designed the magazine as well as the new logo. A special thanks to the editor @Espedelafuente@esperanzadelafuente_ for all your ideas, support and most importantly your patience. - CHK Design designed the new Poetry School logo and visual identity.The new Poetry School logo and visual identity explore the interplay between abstraction and meaning in poetry. The logo features abstract letter shapes that mirror how individual words function as abstract concepts until combined to create meaning.
