About me
Born in 1980 in Italy, Christopher Filippone starts working as freelance editor and cameraman for local production companies during his university years studying Cinema Studies at the University of Bologna.
After the graduation, in 2008 he moved to New York for a one year master in filmmaking and to proceed with his career as editor, videographer and director.
As a freelance he worked for many magazines and brands such as Vogue, L’uomo Vogue, Vogue Italia, Details, L’Officiel Hommes, Omega, Elizabeth Arden, Furla, creating backstage video, advertising, promos and web content.
He collaborated with french graffiti and visual artist Andre Saraiva at the realization of his short film “The deadliest catch” and the music video “Wild joy” for the New York’s band T.V. Baby.
In 2012, for VOGUE 120, the 120th anniversary issue of the magazine, he followed and filmed the editorial photo shoots of photographer Norman Jean Roy.
He has also collaborated with RETV, the online video channel of Resource magazine, realizing numerous video contents dedicated to the photo industry, interviews, documentaries, “on location” overlook segments and tech examinations.
Christopher is now working as freelance between New York, London, Berlin and Italy, also taking part on photo and film shootings as set photographer.
