About me
Hi, I'm Ciara. I'm Irish - Limerick born, meaning the 'west is best'. Living in London since 2011. Associate Creative Director who art directs and writes. Currently hanging with the crew at JOINT London working on Amazon, TSB, Kettle Chips and Thatchers Cider. Before that I was at BETC making work just beginning with B - bunnies, booze, blokes with their tops off, beauty and baby adverts. I've been lucky to work in places as far as DDB Canada to starting out at Ogilvy & Mather Dublin. During my career I've got to work with amazing people making things such as the first song scientifically tested to make babies happy, a complete new global brand campaign and positioning for Bacardi, and create the cutest ad ever for hotel brand - ibis. By evening I volunteer with Creative Equals and She Says as a committee member helping with their events and as a For Creative Girls and Who's Your Momma mentor - supporting young women in advertising across the world. By night I draw my Twitter followers and have sketched over 600 portraits for my blog - #TwitollowerSketches. Follow me if you want one @ciaraomeara Any time left is spent cruising art galleries and playing the classical flute. At the same time, obviously.

  • Kettle Chips 'Real Seasonings' Greetings'
Kettle Chips 'Real Seasonings' Greetings'We gave Kettle Chips fans what they really want for Christmas - a crisp pack that's actually a shaker full of their favourite crisp seasoning. So they could make anything, even their Christmas dinner taste like their favourite snack. We custom made only 5 of them by 3D scanning and creating the world’s first 3D printed crisp packs. Then we gave away for free on social to lucky Kettle fans. The project cost only £15k and we managed to get 16,000 entries and seen by over 7 million in 1 week.

  • Hargreaves Lansdown: Life in Neon
Hargreaves Lansdown: Life in NeonFor Hargreaves Lansdown’s latest campaign, we looked at how they could bring the message of ‘Switch your money ON’ into a more emotional and tangible realm; to show off the positive benefit of what can happen when you invest with the brand. The campaign showcases a mixture of, larger than life, real and CGI neon installations, representing the manifestations of Hargreaves Lansdown users and their dreams for a better financial future coming to life. The installations range from a new house exten

Hargreaves Lansdown: Invest today. Thank yourself later.Financial investment is a journey, it has it's ups and downs but the impact it can have on your life can be wonderful and we looked to illustrate that in our creative. We see our protaginist take a trip down memory lane with the end result thanking her past self for making the choice of investing with Hargreave Lansdown. It's a heart warming experience to see the results of making the right financial decision for you and your loved ones. This was the first time HL plunged into TOV and it's seen
