• WORK!So this started out as part of a lecture I gave my students at DCU where I got them to do an animated typography video and this is what I chose for the in-class demonstration, finishing it off at home later. I've since gone back to it to change the #typography and colour scheme to make it more influenced by the 60s, Blue Note and #midcentury aesthetics. To be honest, it is a bit of a departure from the main idea of this Schudelfloss project where I want to illustrate sounds of acid house,

  Diamond Supply Co x Fifty FiftyThis was the result of the annual design/animation collaboration with Gav Strange, who hooked up with Bristol skate store 50-50 to produce a line of clothing with Diamond Supply Co. And look how shiny, dark, moody and generally badass it is. Look at it. A-MAZ-ING.

Bristol sure isn’t Hollywood, thankfully, and this was definitely the case with my involvement in a short motion graphics sequence in Aardman’s Golden Globe/Annie/BAFTA/OSCAR nominated* Shaun the Sheep feature film. Senior designer at Aardman, also an annual collaborator, creative gangster and guilty by association Gav Strange was involved in the film designing graphics for a blog, memes, tablet & phone
