About me
I've been a photographer for 11 years now, but have only recently made the leap into full time freelancing. My website is predominantly travel documentary, but also contains creative work for bars, restaurants, dance schools, a make up artist and a short film in New Zealand.
My passion lies in travel, but nothing can beat the rush of a complete project where new things have been learned and a team has come together to produce a piece full of the best of collaborations.
I'm keen to get stuck right into new projects with other creative minds.
Projects
- Sarah Elford make upSarah Elford was the make up artist for 'The Creators Cut' film I worked on, she asked me to shoot some head shots for her portfolio and some of her at work for her marketing. The light was fantastic where we shot and her make up very natural. Check out her website though and you'll see a very different style-not for the squeemish!
- The Birth of StarsThe Birth of Stars was a dance, music and light collaboration for The Dance Movement UK. They asked me to document the proceedings while highlighting the feel of the show and capturing the movement of the dance. These images, among others, were used for promotion and marketing of the show, before and during the performance nights.

Ciarran Minns Photography has an impressive portfolio of travel documentary images, but has also taken contracts for commercial and creative work for bars, restaurants, a short film, a make up artist, a dance school and a theatre. CMP enjoys working with a dynamic team, twisting, turning and overcoming challenges and obstacles to produce a continuous flow of creative projects.

Ovingdean Hall is an impressive Georgian building, most recently converted to become a successful International Langauge College. I trained as a TESOL teacher and taught numerous students in New Zealand and the UK for two years before moving into the Sales and Marketing team to increase my skills in this area. My time at OHILC taught me huge amounts and raised my awareness of the motivation and perserverance needed to succeed with Ciarran Minns Photography.

RSCAD was a highly successful art college during the mid-late 90's and early 00's. They were often found in the finals of the annual student competitions and due to their impressive equipment, never ending support and motivational level of study, I continued after my National Diploma to complete my BA in Photography and Digital Imaging here.
