Event Manager

• Venue management. Managing overall processes, integrating teams and delivering facilities for The London Triathlon (30K) London International Music Show (23K), exhibitions (20K), large scale cultural events (30K), and Government Elections and Corporate events.
• Commercial negotiation: Identified operational conflicts during sales process. Controlled budgets to ensure sensible resource allocation enabling practical growth whilst maximising revenue.
• Event Strategy: Detailed operational scheduling and risk management. Responsible for cross functional delivery, cultivating excellent collaborations with security, stewarding, catering, logistics, data and technology, logistics, facilities, guest services and transport to ensure efficient events delivered within key timelines.
• Technical regulation of event plans. Risk assessments of floor plans; manage approvals of complex structures, rigging, stages and platforms.
• Lead Stakeholder management. Managing client relationships, resolving production conflicts with Local Government, Emergency services and Venue Safety management to secure statutory license approvals.
• External account management and complex multi-site planning delivering an integrated operation under strict deadlines to provide clear running routes and safe water during planning of London Triathlon.
• Spearheaded change in client management produced Exhibition manuals and Organiser Handbooks offering clients a comprehensive guide to venue set up and event management on site.
• Strategic event solutions and consultation to new clients demonstrating multi-purpose use, effective resource allocation, event scheduling and safety planning to ensure best practice leading to increased client portfolio.
