After numerous attempts at Corporate Office jobs, I had a window of opportunity to put myself through college and retrain to become a Hair Stylist. Taking classes two evenings a week at 25 years young and a small wage to try and cover my rent, this was a leap of faith for me and one I am proud I took. Learning all aspects of hairdressing and service, in a busy salon. It was a great foundation for learning. Every hair wash, every lesson, every chance I could get to practice. I knew a creative start had been made.
