I team up with the crew at Beast Collective to write scripts and voice-overs for short videos. Recent projects include Deloitte and Hilton.
I create personalities for brands and help them put this into words. This means writing creative guidelines for the teams behind the brands - so they can effectively and consistently write on-brand copy. I also… • Write online content (like about us pages), social posts, wall posters, flyers, packaging, product copy. And I wrote the narrative behind a Design LSM LED installation for the restaurant and bar awards (2015). • Work on naming new bars and restaurants. • Present work to clients, expressing rationale and amend as necessary post review. Brands include fast food takeaways, juice bars, tea and coffee shops, BBQ restaurants, fine dining, carpenters, and breweries.
I write copy for both digital and print projects. Thinks like emails, blog posts, packaging, labelling, bi-annual brandzines, product descriptions, look books, ad hoc print projects like tote bags, wall art and notebooks. I’ve had the pleasure of being heavily involved in renaming the brand, and also two refreshes of the brands look and feel (2014 and 2016). And in September 2016 we won Womenswear Brand of the Year in Drapers' Independent Awards - something all of us at Braintree are rather proud of.
I wrote copy for the app, site content, script editing for ‘What does a good bank feel like?’ video, emails, editing blog content, error messages, and all content for Tandem’s first Crowdfunding campaign. • Conceptual work: a coffee table, card-holder book for Tandem Co-Founders. • Guideline and tone of voice work: refreshing and developing existing voice, educating others in how and where 'the three voices' came into play. • Stakeholder management: I managed copy sign off with compliance, my line manager and other team member's briefing in work - often tailoring how this was done for speed or to suit different project needs.
