Originally from 'up north', I relocated to The Big Smoke last year looking for an opportunity to develop an exciting and challenging career in Media. As a young, creative graduate, I am brimming with innovative ideas and am keen sink my teeth into a stimulating career with a great team of like-minded creatives.
I work with a small team to manage all of deVOL Kitchens PR and marketing as well as assisting with marketing tasks for their three sister companies. This includes writing website, print media and blog content, producing advert copy, developing brand awareness and creating social media output.
I was asked to return to Manchester Growth Company to temporarily cover this position. My main roles included diary management, organising internal and external meetings and corresponding with high profile clients whilst providing administrative assistance to the team.
In this temporary role my main task was to communicate with various bodies to resolve logged work requests. All tasks were monitored against strict service level agreements. I was commended for making improvements to working practices which resulted in better communication and in turn a more efficient system.
After returning from travelling, I was offered a further post working with the commercial department planning medical symposiums. I was responsible for organising a number of European meetings for our main client. As well as handling the logistical arrangements, I acted as the main channel for all communications. Due to the success of these meetings our client allocated an increased portion of the 2015 budget for this purpose.
I worked in the publications department of this medical marketing company assisting a busy team to develop and submit scientific manuscripts, posters and presentations. Focused on client services, I maintained an excellent client relationship with a global pharmaceutical company to ensure they kept a strong market presence.
Highlight: Worked hard to achieve 1sts for the majority of my final year modules including an independent legal research project on Family Law.
