I was born and bred in Melbourne, Australia and lived in Athens, Greece during the ʼ00s. Following years of working as a graphic designer and in various office roles, in 2011 I enrolled at the University of Brightonʼs BA (Hons) in Graphic Design course, completing it in 2014. Immediately upon graduation I enrolled on the University's Masters course in MRes Arts and Cultural Research. During the Practice-led Master in Research, I organized workshops, presentations and coordinated a team of participants that experimented in community-generated comics via an online interface that I personally designed. I have also studied Film Editing for two years, my modules ranging from film direction to film history and from film photography to extensive workshops on Avid XPress and Final Cut. Having completed the design degree and with my long experience in the creative fields, I also have an ECDL certificate in Word, Excel and the Internet and I am fully familiar with Microsoft Office, iWork and Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) — having a strong design skill-set including typography, composition and layout. I have experience with HTML and CSS, both via utilizing Dreamweaver and by creating and customizing Wordpress web sites. Therefore, I can provide the professional creative and communication skills that I have acquired through the years, as well as my mature conduct. I have a long and successful history as a multi award-winning comic book creator/graphic novelist and illustrator for the past 20 years in Australia, Greece and the UK (Comic book artist of the year in Greece in 2008 and 2010). In 2017, Omnibus Press will be publishing worldwide the 450-page graphic novel, Tales of The Smiths, which narrates the early history of the band The Smiths, whilst I am currently researching and serializing online Rebel Rebel, the graphic biography of David Bowie. At the moment, I am collaborating with the International Federation of Red Cross, helping in their communication needs with the refugee crisis, via commissioned illustrations and graphics. Beyond the above, I am the creator and social media manager of MuseumsNews.com, which focuses on museum and exhibitions culture, as well as the web designer and content editor of the arts and culture website, TheStreets.Today, which showcases up-and- coming talents and cultural news.
