I founded the Theatre Company Floor Play in Edinburgh whilst at University; my aim was to experiment with the intimacy of the home as a setting for theatre. I held events in Edinburgh showcasing exclusive new writing and then Bedlam Theatre sponsored the company for a Fringe 2016 run. My responsibilities include choosing new writing to showcase, casting, administration, PR and publicity, liaising with venues and anything else that needed/needs doing.
I translated articles and interviews from English to Spanish and vice versa, I scheduled photography shoots, coordinated locations, models and photographers and came up with and executed segment pieces.
I helped on the production of a variety of ads and a mini documentary, I checked contracts and made call sheets and managed the extras.
When I was 16 I started interning for CASA, it was the most exciting week of my, combining my two major interests, theatre and Latin America, the festival scouts the best theatre of Latin America, I have worked there every year since and each year I do anything needed to aid the smooth and successful running of the festival.
