Hello, my name is Curtis Ascroft, I hold a degree in Film & TV and Motion Design (where I picked up more of an interest in the design side more than animation) after studying at Open Window and currently reside in Pretoria, South Africa.
I draw large inspiration from the likes of bold, clean minimalist style as well as surreal and abstract design. Some of the designers and artists I take inspiration and have learnt from are Aaron Draplin, Kel Lauren, Ten Hundred, Andy Warhol and Nicolas Winding Refn to name a few.
I like to focus on strong, slow paced imagery in my video edits, along with strong audio scapes that encapsulate the mood of the piece.
