I am a first class graduate specialising in Creative Practises. Having always had an intense interest in the creative industry’s, I have continually evolved my practice through experimentation to become a brand that celebrates the realism in Northern culture. I take inspirations from my experiences growing up in Yorkshire and communicate them through playful interior objects and clothing. Fashion was my one and only desire within the creative industries, nothing interested me but the craftsmanship of garments and the power to recreate clothes. However in recent times, I have been able to reflect on how important our surrounding really are and just how much it can uplift our moods by simply adding personality to our home. Which brought my love for interiors to the surface.

Contribution to culture awardThe Open UniversityHaving succeeding in my degree finding with a first class honour, working to the best of my ability and time managing efficiently, I created a catwalk production launching my first collection "WHO THE FUCK IS Daisy Mae" which was featured in the local paper and involved radio interviews. My aim was to push Northern culture and reflect on a quote from The Guardian quoting "Halifax, the new Shoreditch of the North". This is what resulted in me winning this award.
