· In my position as a Client Care Executive, my role consists of marketing, producing events and client management. · I help to organise all elements of seminars, conferences and promotional events. · I proof read press pieces, liaise with our PR team and promote the material. · I create strategies and content for the social media accounts. · I edit and create written website content via WordPress and monitor the user data using google analytics and SEO. · Using Adobe Pro and InDesign, I create images, newsletters and posters for press, social media and the website.
· My role was to run the public screenings of this year’s submissions, which involved managing, and maintaining four screens across the space. · I used coding to run the software and ensuring the scheduling was correct. · I created daily running reports. · Held meetings between several parties in order to prepare the entry software for next year. · Another element of my role included provide information to the delegates of the festival, answering queries and promoting the tours of the work.
· I was a part of a team of five that processed over 40,000 entries into a database bespoke to the company. · I would liaise with customers ranging from agency support staff to Executive Creative Directors via email and over the phone to ensure their entries were correctly processed. · I carried out company research to ensure the information was correct. · I prepared call lists for the marketing teams. · I also carried out external projects using Salesforce.
· I opened a small second hand bookshop in Peckham, which also functioned as a literary and creative events space. · I organised several events in the space, which included poetry readings, children’s workshops and feminist seminars. · I also carried out several collaborative projects with writers and illustrators to create pieces for the store. · Sourced and organised stock. · Kept the accounts. · I marketed The Fold through several social media accounts, creating brand strategies, liaising with blogs and magazines and creating print advertising to promote the store. · I created a database and filing system for 2,500 books to sell online.
