Amongst Crows - my debut feature film - in pre-production. My short film The Man Behind the Machine - now available on www.DalanoBarnes.com With years of experience in video editing - having done short films; commercials; animated video lessons; song visualisers; vlogs and more; as well as writing and directing my own short films - I know that every story is as unique as the person telling it, and your video is no different. I also bring years of advertising experience from my previous career, which taught me how to keep people's attention - a skill that can be transferred to video. "A wounded nomad in a violent, post-apocalyptic Cornwall is given refuge by a pagan cult, but falling in love with the enigmatic leader forces him to confront the guilt buried deep within him."

  The Man Behind the Machine | Sci-Fi Thriller Short Film• X33, an Artificial Life machine, battles with its own mortality and individuality after a new Government ruling. • Winner of Best First Time Filmmaker (short film) and nominated for Best Artificial Intelligence Film at Cannes World Film Festival. My debut short film which I was responsible for producing, writing, directing and editing of the film. The budget for this film was entirely raised through Kickstarter, and saw an independent cinema release that sold over 110 tickets across 3 screen
