Through my experience at Viking Press, I have accumulated a diverse collection of skills that are required to successfully work both independently and within a team in producing a publication. I attained significant experience working closely with the editorial team in the analysis of manuscripts submitted for approval, researching the rights and reproduction conditions of images scheduled for print, and correcting the grammar and syntax of submissions before their publication.
Additionally, I also assisted with the promotion of Antony Beevor’s Ardennes 1944: Hitler’s Last Gamble - entrusted with cataloguing the esteemed guest list at the book launch, hosted by the Belgian Ambassador. Through this endeavour, I successfully supported the Portfolio team; Penguin's publicity subsidiary.
