About me
Hi, I am Damian! Thanks for viewing my profile. I am the founder of two companies, SkillBoost which is an EdTech company working on making education more personalised and Evolutionary Youth which is an Events company working on putting young people into positions of influence. I am also a mental health ambassador, speaking out on my journey with anxiety and panic attacks and I lead the Haringey Youth Council as the Co-Chair. I love working with people, solving problems, and exploring different approaches to tasks. My main interests have to be around people though, with an emphasis on psychology and storytelling, finding out how a person became who they are and how they did it.

At ULAS, I was assigned to the Sales and marketing team, trying to bring in new schools (clients) for the company. During the 3 months, here is a list of things I took part in: - Working on marketing campaigns to establish their online and offline reputation with schools and developing brand awareness - Taking the lead on sales strategies, both the planning and execution of them - Developing relationships with clients and partners internally and directly - Representing the company during events and conferences and promoting brand awareness - Developing ideas that benefit the company's products and website I was also able to learn from the founder of ULAS about leadership styles and how to develop a successful team dynamic and a positive work environment as well as being a part of the 'ULAS summer conference event' and learn about event management and organisation.

Undergraduate of the Year Award for Innovation FinalistThe Undergraduate Awards
The Undergraduate of the Year Award is a competition which looks for the best and brightest students from across the UK. The competition has 12 categories, each sponsored by a different company. This year, I took part in the Innovation award that had 250+ applicants. After completing several tests, essay questions and an assessment centre where I had to pitch my Innovative idea to a panel of judges from four of Barclays sectors, I was selected as one of the top 10 students for Innovation.
