About me
Dan Matthews is a creative still life and food photographer. Over the past seven years he has developed a uniquely graphic aesthetic that influences both his personal and commercial work. Dan is interested in colour, design and photographing things in new and playful ways. This, coupled with a minimal graphic approach, underlies his approach. His creative knowledge is vast and he is always searching for a new project or challenge to inspire himself. Now represented by Trayler & Trayler in the UK and Worldwide, and TPD in the United States, He has shot campaigns for a range of clients including KFC, Smirnoff, British Airways, Tesco, Costa and Subway, as well as editorial work for British GQ, The Guardian, as well as many others.     Darkoo - 2 in 1 EPCover for Darkoo's EP dropping 16th of July for 2 in 1 - we designed and set built a blue bath, and created 6/7 fake mirror panels and shot her at a 360 degree angle with the reflections and bathroom all built in cgi and retouch. The creative loosely nods to electioneering using recognised voting boxes as the format and tells the individual stories of giffgaff members across the country to reinforce the fact giffgaff is run by you.
