I am motivated. I am driven. I am thirsty. I am a passionate Graphic Designer with a strong and wide knowledgebase, highly adaptable, self-motivated and deeply interested in creating effective and striking design solutions for a constantly evolving world. My experience spans from specialist print techniques, point-of-sale, packaging and dieline creation to social media, eDM, web, coding and digital interaction.
Working closely with marketing, education and purchasing our mission was to set up and operate an internal design team to facilitate the design, print and asset management needs of 20 brands across 4 divisions of the L’Oreal family. Beginning from the ground up we were sought to assess the needs of each brand and develop a relationship that bred a co-operative design approach. Being a part of L’Oreal Australia’s first In-House design team has been an ever-changing and evolving role that has challenged not only my approach to design but my understanding of big business. Such a position in my career is an invaluable asset that has not only taught me new approaches to design using existing skills but also encouraged actionable foresight as to the sustainability and feasibility of the team in a fluid environment.
Working for Peter and Heidi at The Bird Collective has been an engaging and growing role that never ceases to amaze creatively. In previous jobs I have been a team member working personally with the duo producing high quality video and photography on location for production. The role taught me further about communication in a creative team as well as client interaction, visualising and sustaining a concept for the project as a whole, interpreting and dissecting briefs and maintaining a presence as a representative of the company.
