In 2016 I founded RN productions, a unique, boutique company crafting and presenting stories which explain and uplift our human condition.
The journey of this company reflects my development in expertise and passion. Through my training and practice as a nurse, especially in palliative care, I have collected stories from patients, working in production overseas I have enhanced stories from rural companies in Scotland and in Melbourne, produced well-selected plays. Each project has the vision of helping the listener and viewer better understand how people think and why they do the things they do.
My personal expertise bridges the medical field and theatre experience. I have a strong background in acting and now I film, edit and direct performances with the aim of inspiring storytellers and audiences alike.
My personal values and love of stories lead me to volunteer in my community which I have been privileged to a part of since adolescence. This embraces involvement in community fire response (CFA), teaching students and teachers how to overcome the limitations of dyslexia and embrace its strengths, facilitating opportunities for students to participate in local and international volunteering situations, as well as facilitating community engagement with government organisations.
Additional studies have lead me beyond nursing to completion of studies through Harvard University in creating a healthy workplace culture, and through Cambridge University in understanding contemporary issues in communities globally (international development), as well as the Graduate Diploma in Psychology.
