My professional practice has qualified me with good communication and administration skills, experience in project management, as well as experience in developing and implementing sales & marketing strategies. Moreover, I am confident in managing communication material, including press releases, e-newsletters and announcements, dealing with press requests and managing social media platforms, while liaising with a broad range of people, including artists, journalists and collectors. I am currently working as an Editorial Director of Daata Editions, an online platform for the sale of commissioned artist video, sound and web editions. On the side, I am one of the Founding Directors of Athens Art Week, a project which aims to launch an Art Week in Athens, Greece in September 2016, for which I am focusing on project’s development & communications. In addition to the above, I have working experience as Sales Associate in IMT Gallery, as Assistant Curator & Project Coordinator of Filmarmalade, an artist’s book & DVD publisher, I have been an Events Coordinator of the Athens based publication, OZON Magazine and I have contributed in various artistic projects. Working for Daata Editions, I manage the day to day operations of the business, which includes maintaining the website by editing texts, uploading artworks, updating the news section on the CMS, liaising with artists and contributors (web designers, graphic designers, writers, accounts and legal team), preparing reports and action lists and managing the databases for collectors and subscribers by monitoring their activity and keeping their details up to date. In addition to the above, I manage Daata Editions communication material, including editing press releases, editing and distributing e-newsletters, managing the Daata Editions press archive and liaising with our PR Agency and journalists on press material requests, while I assist in the production of Daata Editions communication videos and relevant material to be used on the website, social media and special events. Moreover, I assist in events planning and coordination (venues include Frieze Art Fair New York & London, Soho House, Zabludowicz Collection, private dinners, Salon 94 gallery & David Risley gallery), and I manage Daata Editions’ participation in art fairs (incl. NADA New York & LOOP), which includes managing the setting up of the space / display, supervise the production of any print communication material and assist in the building of new public relations for the project. One of the most exciting aspects of my job is that I am actively involved in the development of the project by seeking opportunities to promote Daata Editions and collaborate with various institutions and art market initiatives, with the aim to approach new audiences. Such experience has qualified me with a good understanding of the art world and experience in building networks that will enhance the platform’s visibility and profitability.
