About me
Recently Graduated from the University of Derby with a First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Events Management. I have been an active member of multi-disciplinary teams at various large organizations, such as Live Nation (VIP Nation), SJM Concerts and Cancer Research UK for the last 3 years. This has allowed me to gain valuable experience in multiple roles within the live events spectrum working in campsite management, event hospitality and live events for the public.     Campsite Manager; Working as the campsite manager at the Gold/Silver campsite at Creamfields and the VIP campsite at Download Festival it was my responsibility to ensure customers were provided with all the necessary information and troubleshoot throughout the time of the festival. My main tasks were; • Liasing with facilities managers to ensure constant power and water for crucial facilities on site. • Working closely with welfare and medical teams whilst being first on the scene for medical incidents. • Ensuring customer experience is as sold. • Logging and communicating incidents to event control. • Facilitate meet & greets between artists and fans at concerts around the UK. • Adhering to the Health & Safety requirements of the Festival. • Managing a small team. Festival Assistant; Employed at major UK festivals namely Wilderness, Latitude, Creamfields and Download it was my responsibility to meet & greet clients and ensure customers had an excellent hospitality experience. Working with contractors to ensure the site was ready for guests and being the first point of contact for any issues that would arise. VIP Experience Assistant; My main role as a VIP Experience assistant is to facilitate the Meet & Greet between fans and artists, athletes or brand. • Ensuring the customers benefited from the VIP Experience • Be the first point of contact for customers at the check in desk and providing the included merchandise Liaising with Venue Management and Tour management Overseeing the Meet & Greet ensuring it ran efficiently and punctually

    My main job responsibility within CRUK is as a Course Manager. This required me to be involved in the implementation of live events for the general public which comprised of monitoring, supervising and creating routes for 5km and 10km runs along with Pretty Muddy events, Half Marathons and Shine night walks. I ensure the events run safely and proficiently. • Review risk assessments and make changes where necessary this is crucial with participants ranging from 500-2500 people. •Troubleshooting on event day. •Liaising with Traffic Management. •Working in a fast-paced environment with a quick turnaround. •Working under time constraints on live events for the general public.
