Working across Reed Midem’s portfolio of events such as MIPCOM, MIPTV, MIPJunior and MIDEM, my role encompassed a broad spectrum of responsibilities including: • On-site management at events held in Cannes and London. Resolving any registration or technical issues for exhibiting clients, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction were attained. • Using the Salesforce CRM application and in-house database to register clients and book both stand and advertising space for exhibitors. • Working across multiple events simultaneously ensuring workload was prioritised and time managed efficiently. • Coordination of 2 annual roadshows for the Managing Director and MIDEM Sales Director. • Daily administration tasks including preparing floor plans, sales reports, and generating invoices. • Coordinating accommodation at events held in Cannes for key clients in line with Reed Midem’s business aspirations. • Liaising with clients on a daily basis via telephone, email and face to face and dealing with any general queries. • Collaborating with the head office marketing department to create and execute campaigns across multiple platforms. • Ensuring social media portals were updated with relevant information pertaining to London office activities. • Compiling email lists to specific criteria from Reed Midem’s client and prospect database, ensuring relevant audiences were reached for targeted campaigns. • Working closely with the MD and Sales Directors to negotiate and complete exchange deals with key media outlets. • Liaising with colleagues at all levels from the London, New York and Paris head office.
Working closely with the MD, I contributed to Kikizo’s success in establishing a UK market leadership position, delivering gamers the best online content service. A non-exhaustive list of my responsibilities included: • Assisting with daily content production and maintenance of the editorial calendar, ensuring articles were delivered to deadline. • Coordinating Kikizo’s representation at key industry events. I was selected to attend E3 in Los Angeles sand TGS in Tokyo to further Kikizo’s business ambitions. • Researching and developing new sales leads related to advertising space and content syndication. • Delegating tasks to Kikizo’s globally positioned staff.
