For this project we were asked to create a branding for The Live Cinema Conference event taking place in London. We began by researching the events themes, goals and objectives and began experimenting with analog typography. Our aim for the logo was to reflect the 'Live' element of the conference, so we wanted the logo to be fun and unique but also reflective of the nature of the cinematic experience. Our design was chosen for the event, and our logo along with several images were chosen to be displayed on screens, tote bags and programmes. For this project I was asked to experiment with a brand idea for the architectural company Metropolitan Workshop. I began by looking at the type of work that they are interested in designing, and began experimenting with logo forms. After several ideas I had decided that I wanted to design a unique font for the brand to make them stand out from the crowd and have a more unique brand within the industry. My final font and logo designs reference the angular nature of the rooftops of some of Metropolitan Workshop's projects. The branding was accepted by the company, and is currently in the process of being implemented.
