About me
Reading-based optioned screenwriter with credits on feature and short films that span multiple genres.
I put a huge emphasis on bringing the story out of a project and writing within the creative, technical and financial limitations of my team. It’s so important to me not to impose too much on other creators. Writing film is a collaborative effort and I always reflect that.

“BANSHEE” – Spec Horror Feature – Under option in US
A young woman struggles to survive against a supernatural predator while she strives to save her mother from its clutches.
“We Are Prime” – Commissioned Comedy Feature – In development
Three youths try to escape their miserable lives with a road trip across England, only for their problems to follow in the form of infuriated parents, a crazed conspiracy theorist, a terrifying drug dealer and more.
“Odette” – Spec Period Feature
The true story of Odette Samson Hallowes. A female spy must endure the wrath of the Nazis after she’s captured and interrogated for information.
“Awoken” – Spec Horror Feature
Whilst three test subjects try to understand the experiment their subjected to, the doctor’s running it must contend with each other, their consciences and a saboteur amongst them.
“Baby Boxer” – Spec Drama Short
A young man takes up boxing unsuccessfully, but pushes himself beyond his limits in a desperate bid to win his father’s approval.
In addition I also have experience writing prose and am writing both short stories and am developing a novel.
Not only do I write my own projects, but I’ve also assisted others in their writing and giving feedback to them – recently I was thanked by a filmmaker at the Berlin Film Festival for my help with his projects.
Outside of film I have a number of interests - Snowboarding, Formula 1, reading and palaeontology to name a few.

Director Max Morrison commissioned me to develop the story for and write the screenplay for his debut feature film. I delivered character profiles, beat sheets, treatments and a first draft he described as, ‘absolutely fantastic’.

I wrote the film first as a short that I used to pitch to a producer in West Hollywood. Doing so successfully resulted in the first draft of the feature securing an option. Banshee has been commended for its commercial and critical viability.
