  • Investec VIP
    Investec VIPProNucleus is an exclusive event being held for members of the Investec VIP Mortgage Club. The brief was to create an identity that reflected this exclusivity. The event’s title was depicted in a clean and stylish marque that was used at various sizes throughout the promotional collateral. The considered texture, paper stock and finishing added a sense of opulence to the identity. The project included: Identity concept and creation Printed matter
  • Saint Francis Hospice
    Saint Francis HospiceThe project was a collaboration with Animator Sean Sears to fundraise for Saint Francis Hospice, a centre for the care of people with life limiting illnesses. Each person who donated contributed the next line of a narrative for a short film, raising close to £1000. Voice-over was kindly provided by Adam Buxton.     PC Gaming WikiPC Gaming Wiki is a website and community devoted to providing players with fixes for every single PC game. In collaboration with Animator Sean Sears I created character and scene designs to be used in a promotional video for the company. The project included: Character/illustration concept and creation
  • Hotcow
    HotcowHotcow are a company that specialise in experiential marketing. The objective was to create an identity that would reflect their core brand value of being ‘surprisingly different’. With this concept in mind, a bold and confident wordmark was designed with a hidden meaning in the form of an exclamation mark. A striking colour palette was implemented that would inspire motivation and draw attention. The brand book is an informative piece of literature that the recipient would wish to keep. To enhance the information inside, a quirky illustrative style was created to convey key messaging and add an element of humour to the piece.   • The Complete Walton
    The Complete WaltonThe oldest magic shop in England, Davenports Magic, required a design for the re-edited versions of ‘The Complete Walton’. The books are a collection of tutorials for tricks you can perform using an ordinary deck of playing cards. The content had to be complimented rather than over-shadowed, so subtle illustrative touches, influenced by the subject matter, were used throughout to help break up the copy.   • Penguin Books
    Penguin BooksSubmission to the Penguin Design Awards competition. The objective was to design a purely typographic book cover for one of the titles in their Penguin Modern Classics imprint. I selected ‘Hell’s Angels’ by Hunter S. Thompson. Inspired by it’s menacing and lawless tone, I decided to use the phonetic alphabet used by police departments to spell out the book’s title.
