About me
I am a highly motivated and dedicated creative writer who has completed two full-length novels of varying genres, spanning over 200,000 words. I have also created short stories, fictional extracts, and have collaborated with an indie game developer to create a narrative-driven mod with a unique story, engaging characters and a morality-driven plot. All of my varied professional experience has constantly served as inspiration and informed my writing. My first-hand experience within the police, dealing with critical, life-threatening incidents as well as learning about hundreds of family histories and historic events, has allowed me to propel my work to new heights, creating a concoction of unimaginable circumstances bound within harsh realities. Until this point, I have gained unforgettable and extraordinary life experiences. It is because of these experiences that I am now looking for a career in creative writing, a career in my passion of writing unique creative works, which I have always strove to achieve in my free time.

Along with providing first aid to those in need, giving advice, providing reassurance, managing expectation and being respectful and understanding to the victim or witnesses’ needs, I work on a daily basis with a variety of criminal report systems that collate information. Alongside this, I also complete the appropriate paperwork that again can range depending on the circumstance of the incident that has occurred. All are filled out accordingly in order to satisfy the police’s responsibility to uphold to the public. At the heart of this is the demand for police officers’ to make quick, rational and intelligent decisions dynamically in order to deal with a pressurised situation. I have studied and earned a certificate in knowledge of policing. This, along with the invaluable experience I have had dealing with members of the public has allowed me to combine my knowledge of criminal law with my ability to carry out tasks effectively.

I worked closely with the CMO of the company to develop and adapt the tone of voice of the company and build upon it, in preparation for the live launch. As the company evolved its marketing processes, and tech news changed, I acclimatised my editorial style as necessary. Working in the heart of London has given me the opportunity to reach highly influential figures in the industry and arrange unique and thought-provoking interviews. I communicate regularly with the CMO, COO and CEO of appScatter and work to strict deadlines to continue the rapid growth of the company.
