There is an endless array of window displays that line our retail streets and fill our shopping malls. Using software like Adobe Creative Suite & Autodesk Sketchbook Pro, translating my story into a visual reality has become possible through my natural skills and hands-on experience in retail display and visual merchandising. 2015 Awarded VQ Learner of the Year award for London which placed me as the top learner across all students from all London education institutions who had studied a vocational qualification in all subjects for the year. 2014 After graduating with a distinction in Visual Display and Retail Branding at the Fashion Retail Academy, I went on to receive the most recognised award (FRA 2014 Commitment Award). Previously, I have worked as the Beauty, Fragrance's and Women's Fashion Visual Merchandiser for Selfridges Birmingham. Other roles include visual display internships at Selfridges London and Fortnum & Mason.
Window Display Designer/Visualiser
Visual Merchandising for Level 3, including windows displays, womenswear, beauty and fragrance. Designing and overseeing the installation of all in-store VM and visuals throughout Level 3 of the store. Working directly / regularly meeting with retail operations, department managers, marketing team, facilities team and concession managers. Constantly maintaining communication with both internal and external departments. Constructing/designing/ sourcing display props. Managing costs of props to remain within budget, and finding alternatives. Installing and supporting all team members with VM displays throughout various departments including women’s luxury and contemporary fashion, women's accessories, food hall, kids and men’s luxury and contemporary fashion. Compiling trend reports for VM of competitors and fashion trend reports of merchandise. Creating visual guideline packs for VM in the store.
Support and launch VM exhibition stands at the World Skills Show UK 2014. Install and manage props and materials. To oversee and mentor VM contestants. Member of final Judging panel.
Full-time Internship Women’s Contemporary & Designer Fashion Responsibilities: Display and prop production for Christmas. Dressing mannequins. Designing props. Managing up to 6 new work experience members to the team at a time. Handling/moving valuable props, mannequins and fixtures. Meeting/ visiting suppliers. Maintaining shop floor/studio standards. Organising prop and mannequin storage rooms. Reporting to VM managers and working closely with the VM teams. To install Christmas 2014 for the Selfridges’ press launch & Christmas Shop
Organising of prop storage room areas. Dressing mannequins. Skilfully using VM essential tools like drills & hammers. Merchandise handling. General maintenance/touching up of mannequin bases/plinths, the mannequins themselves, and wigs. Preparing flagship store for "Model Store" inspection.
To work independently and alongside the Visual Presentation Team at the Piccadilly store. Creating window displays, in-store displays and preparing the store for the Christmas season. Prop preparation and production. Team working with interns . Handling valuable merchandise and portraying it in the traditional visual style of the store.

Exhibited a painting at the Royal Society of British Artist
Co-designed an iron/glass sculpture. It was later commissioned and created by artist/ blacksmith Jenny Pickford. It now stands outside St. Augustines Catholic High School, Redditch, Worcestershire.
