About me
I am a multidisciplinary freelance Art Director and Graphic Designer. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for typography, I thrive under pressure and excel at working to tight deadlines within a busy team. During my career I have been responsible for creating compelling and dynamic designs for brands, editorial magazines, social media, websites, rebrands, packaging and advertising campaigns, as well as organising and creative directing photoshoots – both model and still life. I'm open to any freelance design or art direction opportunities so please get in touch!

Currently I’m overseeing the creative direction and design of makeup company, Iconic London as a freelance Art Director. I was brought onboard to look at every creative aspect of the brand, brainstorming ideas to see how I could elevate their visuals and their branding to the next level as the company quickly expanded worldwide. This required me being actively involved in everything from their social media channels, to website assets, newsletters and also any other bits of branding. A big part of my role here is heading up the creative direction of new beauty campaign launches that happens every few months. Alongside creating all branding assets for these product launches, I also organise and art directing photoshoots on set, both still life and model shoots, often to tight deadlines and on a tight budget.

     - London, United KingdomFull Time
I was promoted to the role of Art Director last year, overseeing every design aspect that was involved with the Look brand, not only within the magazine but also online and digitally too. The role allowed me to bring my vision of Look to life when I was tasked with the mission of redesigning the entire magazine and the brand itself. The big redesign brought Look into a new era, with the design having a more premium, aspirational feel that was previously quite dated. It was a hit with my peers, the industry and our readers. The refresh also saw me getting more actively involved in our social media content, where we completely changed our social aesthetics in line with the new magazine design, along with updating the way content was also shared online too, for example getting our audience to engage more with us through our Instastories, like voting for who they want as our next coverstar and chosing the cover too. As well as having to design the covers every week, manage my art team and liaise with retouchers, photographers, production and editorial staff, the role also meant I had to deal a lot with the commercial and advertorial team within Time Inc too. This new venture saw me having to deal directly with clients on big projects, often having to negotiate and work together to come up with ideas and layouts that both myself, my editor and the client were all happy with. I was also in charge of art directing any big model shoots along with the help of the fashion and beauty team, whilst working together with the make-up artists, stylists, hairdressers and photographers to ensure we all achieved the same vision.
