Assistant Design Intern

As an assistant design intern I was in involved in the entire design to shipping process. Tasks included design research and development, pattern drafting, sampling, quality control, hand sewing, hand felting, photo shoot assistant, general studio maintenance, Additional to the varied tasks I had to undertake I was also very much involved in the preparation for the international woolmark competition which was held in Shanghai in the summer of 2015. The competition was for a selection of designers to create and present a full look which praises the use of wool, in particular cashmere and merino.
