  • My most relevant work experience is at Beyond Retro where I am part of the management team as a supervisor. Beyond Retro has given me the training and experience needed to be a leading example in customer service and vintage retail. Key Responsibilities: Assisted the manager at analysing and understanding weekly and daily sales reports. Helped taking immediate action plans to reach higher sales underperforming categories. I've exceeded my role by running the shop and helping increase sales in the absence of the managers. Participated in weekly meetings with other store managers and company director when the management team was unavailable, contributing with goals for our store and team performance. Received frequent excellent customer service feedback. Leading by example and contributing to achieve an higher team average score and store reputation. Excellent at handling pressure and stressful situations, by working in a very demanding environment where we deal with hundreds of customers and being in charge of a very small team. Developed a reputation as an excellent Vintage Garments expert and trainer, after creating and running a Pre-70s true vintage garments section for both men and women in store and being in charge of team members vintage knowledge training. Communication is my best strength. I maintained an excellent relationship with colleagues, managers and other team members. Handled customers, press and other business inquiries over the phone in a effective and friendly manner.

  • My job included being in charge of the store and organising the team - I would dictate to the sales assistants their tasks and store aims for the day, as well as train them in store procedure. I was given responsibilities by the management such as - organising and paying in the stores money, controlling the stock/dealing with deliveries, and I was responsible for the store in-layout and content of the rails/displays. This was a highly specialist store catering to very specific customers. My excellent knowledge of vintage clothing meant I could ensure superior customer service due to understanding their requirements.
