Hi, I’m Danielle. For the last few years, I have been working as self-employed. Doing a mixture of things, temping as a brand ambassador for brands such as Marks and Spencer, John Lewis, Jelly Belly and Deliveroo. I also freelance digital marketing and social media for companies who need advice in this area, recent clients are Tap Tavern, Richmond. I also launched my own acoustic duo where I sing with a guitarist across Hampshire for brands and venues such as Royal Carribean, Southampton F.C, Emirates Spinnaker Tower, Room2Hometels part of the Lamington Group. I have a unique combination of skills; I am self- motivated, creative, entrepreneurial, organised, and whatever job I go into I will give it my best.
Brought on board to devise a social media strategy for gastro pub, Tap Tavern in Richmond. My role was to set them up on social media and build a foundation across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. That meant aligning all branding, copy, tone of voice, use of filters, hashtags, and utilising all the features available on each platform. Another part of my role was content creation and campaign management. Being a gastropub, their selling points are craft ales, craft gins, live music and local community in Richmond. We declared August as G&T month and launched a competition across socials to win complimentary G&T at the launch night event. Using a sponsored post for our competition post, we targeted an audience in the Richmond area, which boosted attendance at our launch event. Our live music campaign was centred around using all the features on instagram to increase engagement - going live, sending artists photos and videos after the event, who then posted them on their feed - reaching a wider audience.
This degree has given me an educational insight into marketing, finance, small business and entrepreneurialism, HR management, international business management.
